Imagine you're trying to grow your career or start a business and the state you live in is in the bottom 5% in many major economic indicators such as ___.  If you live in California today this isn't imaginary, its reality.  While California is the 5th largest GDP producer globally its quickly falling behind as a leader in business.

Whats the difference between a business that is successful vs struggling? While products, services, culture, visions and employees are important its typically leadership that makes or breaks the success of a business. Under poor leadership a good business will fail yet under great leadership a struggling business can succeed.

California is certainly no different. As the 5th largest GDP producer ($3.2T annually) in the world, surpassing both India and Germany, leadership can have a great or grave impact on our State. This has a direct and lasting impact on the States businesses and subsequent employees. Join us as we hear from Major Williams, 2022 California gubernatorial candidate, as he shares his perspective on the future state of business in California.  In this episode we cover critical business topics affecting California from employment, special interest groups, the EDD, entrepreneurship, AB5 and of course leadership.

Regardless of your political affiliation or stance, the discussion about Californias future and how it impacts your ability to have and retain a career should be top of everyone's mind. Listen in and learn how Major's would-be approach to the Governors seat includes building a team of bipartisan leaders representative of the diversity which matches our States people while shedding the one size fits all approach which has dominated California's economy for far too long.
